WOW Brugie, that's one BEAUTIFUL bloom! Any plans to cross it?
Long tendrils
That is gorgeous!! Poor butterfly is jealous.
I love Butterfly. Her fragrance is the best part of her. Mine bit the dust last year, but I'm certainly not short on pink brugs.
If it is any consolation, your butterfly is alive and well in CA. After being cut t the ground because of our weird frost this winter, she is back up to 13 feet or so. It is a challenge keeping brugs happy and healthy that are growing that fast. Our soil here is less than great. Rocks and clay in between. You chose well. the 3 cuttings that you sent me are now mainstays in my garden. V. Peach stays at about 7 fett though for some reason.
I'm glad they are still alive and well. Now, could I send you some of our heat and humidity? LOL!
You are sooooooooo generous, my dear.
Nice looking flower Burgie. Love it.
Thanks Ted. I'm glad you like it. I'll try to get a few cuttings sent out so that others can help share it next year. I asked Terry if it was okay to share and she told me to go ahead.
Thanks but I do not want any of your heat and humidity. LOL Have plenty of that now. But do keep me in mind come fall. Ted
Waiting still for your seedlings to bloom again. Just too hot now.
It's been a tough year for some of us, Ted. We will probably have great fall color this year.
remember me Brugie *S*
Brugie... I can offer my third attempt tacca as a trade item here.. and go on tomy fourth try..
hope it cools down some... Gordon
LOL! Cutting time is a month and a half + away. Maybe we can talk then.
That makes a cute/pretty picture, Ted. Good job! We are having a great day here. Cloudy and 75 degrees. I should be outside, but it's thundering.
Thats to cool Shirley. : )
Ok I just noticed the background plants in the photo lol! Is that a variegated monstera or some other type of variegated philodendron? Cool!
No problem Ted. I need to learn how to do the removal part.
Yes, that is a variegated Monstera. A Dave's member gave it to me one year for Christmas. I've spread it around and made several friends happy over the last year or two.
Wow Shirley !! That is one incredible brug.
WOW, I never even noticed there was such a beautiful plant behind the Brug! I think I had a tendril stuck in my eye or something...;)
Wow! My kinda brug! Great color, and I love those tendrils!!!
LOL, Teresa.
Thanks Patricia and Shelly. I wish she was a faster grower so I could spread her around more.
I'm glad you are enjoying her Shirley. I found her to be quite a conversation piece when company comes. LOL
