So bored you want to look at more pictures of plants??

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

As some of you know, I've been living in a medically imposed "bubble" for almost a year due to a rare immune system disorder, which confines me (pretty much, sometimes I sneak out) to my house and yard. I've begun a new type of weekly in-home treatment program in hopes of rejoining polite society in September.

Well, I just finished creating/updating/adding music to my Phanfare website and if you're bored, I'd love for you to visit. Click on each album's slideshow for pictures, and don't forget to turn on your speakers, if you enjoy music. There are plants and some animals too, all pictures taken "from the bubble" (my house and yard). http://amarantha.phanfare.com/9999

Have a great night,

karen...I am so glad you're of the 'computer-age'. I can't imagine being without it and I'm always thinking what a fantastic tool it is for shut-ins, people who live out in the middle of nowhere, etc. You can have the entire world at your fingertips. Sometimes 'polite society' isn't all that polite and there are many days when I can tell you that I don't think you're missing much. Being able to go outside is good, I'd have a hard time not being able to be outside.... I hope the new program does wonders for you, in the meantime...how cool that you have DG and all the other things possible and availabe through the Net.

I am glad you are able to sneak out a bit. Great photos and the presentation is very nice.
You seem to have a lovely garden.

Hi Karen!! :-)

We have missed you and wondered where you had gone. I'm so sorry you couldn't make it to the RU in Temecula in May and at Weegy's little get together earlier this month.

Wow, I really enjoyed viewing your garden site. You are a fabulous photograhper...man some of the pictures are amazing. I loved your falcon shots!!!

I also am in awe of you being so computer literate. Wish I could do some things that I have no idea of how to even think of starting. lol

I hope this new medicine helps you to be able to come out of your beautiful gardens some time soon.

Wonderful photos...you have a beautiful collection of roses. You have no problem being outside as much as you like to do your gardening?

Beautiful photos, Karen, and I love the layout of your site.

Love your pictures Karen! Especially the hibiscus, I am so jealous of all your beauties, hope mine are half that pretty someday! I liked the baby hawk too, that was really cool how he let you take all those pics of him!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I loved them too! Your animal pictures were great fun to look at too. I enjoyed all your pics. I need more info on your Tropical Vine "Hawaiian Bells" which was so pretty!!

I am so sorry you have been so sick. I sure hope your new treatment will help you get out and about more. It must get so hard staying home all the time. The older I get the more I realize how many things can really go wrong.

Beautiful garden, and a great website! I add my hopes and best wishes that your health improves and you are able to rejoin the gardening world soon!

Thanks to all for your very nice comments :-) My IGG levels have really improved over the last couple of weeks, and assuming they stay on an upward path and I think they will with this new type of treatment, I'm going to be able to go back to work at the beginning of September. You know what that means? I'll be able to afford more plants, lol!

Thanks again to all my wonderful online friends, don't know what I would have done without you over the last year.

Wow Karen, what a great show! Thanks for putting this together for others to enjoy.

Do you happen to know the origin of the daylily cultivar 'Wilson Spider' by any chance?

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

Thanks for the nice compliment! All I know is that Wilson Spider was hybridized by Oakes in 1987 - I don't know the parents though...
