I was not expecting any blooms this year from these plants, but here is one of them this morning..
Ipomoea marginata
I. marginata (Ron's seed)
#9 other side of the tree, the vine is growing down the tree instead of up the tree.. I wonder what it would do if it was on the ground, I'm afraid to chance it with the dogs around though.. it does twin itself onto itself if given the opportunity
Any questions should be directed to Ron... I don't know a thing about these.
I love the bloom. The lvs look really thick.
Antoinette - Great that the I.marginata bloomed...the flowers can be offwhite with the colored throat or the flower can be a solid color like the throat...
The bloom you posted has a very similar coloration to I.pandurata...
Keep an eye out foir any other blooms and seedpods(!)...
TTY,...
Ron

The blooms almost look like white hibiscus flowers! Really pretty, A!!!!
More beautiful pictures, A! What is the tree that the basket is sitting in?
:) Donna
hI Donna,
That is a Mexican Elder tree, has some really pretty flowers too when it is in full bloom, they look like clusters of snow.. from afar.
A, gorgeous marginata flower. Love it.
Luv the bark on it.
