At Home Depot several weeks back, they were offering Crape Myrtles (kinda puny looking) at 2/$15! I wasn't sure, but thought that sounded like a great price, so I got a pink and a white. I have been really excited watching them sprout new leaves and then buds. This morning, I saw the first of the flowers on the white one. YEA!

You'll be surprised how fast they grow. That white one a natchez? That will get big BTW. Wish I had some pics but their so common around here I don't bother. Think this weekend I'll go get a bunch of pics. This seems to a great year for them down here. They're all blooming like crazy.
