CLOSED: Wasp ID help please

I need some help on this large wasp found today in my garden. He looks very similar to the photos of the Great Black Wasp, but my guy has red legs. http://bugguide.net/node/view/5530

Any ideas?

Hmmm ... the Ichneumon are similar but still different.

I think this is closer ... a Katydid wasp
