My Morning Glories

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I am not sure of the name. They are a shorter vine and the flowers are blue and some are pinkish.

really hard to see the leaf shape, but it looks like a lobes leaf so it might be I. indica. Can you post a leaf photo? Do they turn pinkish towards the end of the day?

makshi - The flower looks like Ipomoea purpurea Tall Mix...are the seedpods on yours pointing downward to face the ground like in the photo here

Ron, you must have really good eyes....I can't even see a seedpod there!!!!!

Netcong, NJ(Zone 5b)

There's 2 sets of sepals in the photo makshi posted,,,both lower left...there are sepals rising from the far left corner that look to be from an I.nil seedpod and another set of sepals just above the 1st set...

Actually, the more I look at the initial photo makshi posted the more the blue flower is looking like Ipomoea hederacea...the pink flower makshi mentioned may be a different species than the blue one...

I'd like to see a photo of any seedpods for ID confirmation...but only if convenient for makshi to post...
