Lilies for a shady place

Moline, IL(Zone 5a)

I have 2 areas (fairly well shaded) that I want to put some plants. I would like to do both Lilies and Daylilies. Does anyone have any suggestions what might go well in a space that gets maybe 3 to 4 hours sun or less? One area is about 1' by 5', against a chain link fence. On the other side is several Rose of Sharon that are quite tall. The other area is about 4' by 5', against the house with bushes on 2 sides of it.

For shade think martagons, and more martagons.

Or, any lily that has whorled leaves, but especially L. martagon and L. hansonii and their crosses (which are L. xmarhan and L. xdalhansonii). Whorled leaves are an adaptation to shadier sites.
