CLOSED: very weird Beetle ID please

Peachtree City, GA(Zone 7b)

While checking on a baby ginger plant something was moving half in and out of the soil.
It was on its back.
It is soooo round that I could barely get a picture of the shell.
I took about 20 pics and got only a couple that might be useful.
Has crazy legs and antennea things.
It looked like is was doing stomach crunches and neck crunches and wouldnt stay still.

I have it in a cup to waiting for a good or bad bug decision. Any ideas?
In the pic, he is pinching or biting on a piece of bark.

Claypa, you are amazing at ID
I was still looking for it.
Fancy Bolbocerine - Bolbocerosoma farctum

I will let him go back outside .
Now that you have given me the name, I will check bugfiles. Maybe they need its pictures, it I can get better shots. It really seems like it cant get onto its stomach. Just keeps rolling over.

I think somebody posted that one before, I remember the red coloring. The first picture is hilarious, it looks like a giant in the landscape
