I love coming home to that sort of thing. You will have the species lovers crazy with that image. I hope they find it. Very nice, indeed!

Very lovely ! I have to say though, once you've seen a Lilium nepalense live and in person, no picture can compare.

I'm a little jealous. Not too much, just a bit.

Hi Lilyfan, you need to be posting some pictures of your lilys.. :)

I'd just be doing repeats of what everyone else has already posted so beautifully. But I will try to get some transfered to this computer and see what I can come up with :-)

Oh, I bet you have a couple we haven't seen.... How about some larger shots of your garden too?

I think a road trip to your house is in order for next June. :)

Ililyfan, The more I read about the lily & it's care the more confused I get. How do you take care of yours. I've read that the blub must remain dry in winter which is kine of hard in New England. By the way, your lily is beaufiful. I agree with Moby, please post more pictures of your lilies. I just love looking at them.

I have mine in a big pot and overwintered it under the house (no basement). It summers on the north side of the house. No increases thus far but I keep hoping. It seems to be doing really well this summer so far.

So you don't mind repeats....well, I have a few on the July 21 thread! Once you get me started I might not shut up!!!

Ililyfan - Thank you for the information. I planted it in the ground this year but, plan on digging it up in the fall. In the future I plan on growing it in a pot as you are doing.
I have to agree with Ticker, all of us love to seeing what everyone is growing. We just love looking a lilies
