I planted some I bought through a co-op and a few Star Gazers I bought from some catalog. All were growing great but most of them ended up getting th stalk snapped off (in most cases by the dog - grrrrrrrrr!)before blooms were on the way. I ended up with one star gazer blooming while I was away (missed it - boohoohoo) and another one (can't remember which) looked like 2 were about to bloom that got snapped off. Another has multiple blooms about to come but the rest were broken at the stalk. Will I have another chane with them next year?

Yeah, they should come back and bloom for you next year. Leave the majority of the stalk if you can, that will help feed the bulb and make it stronger. :)
Thanks :) That makes me happy. Now I have to figure out how to keep the dog out. Might trick him into thinking the invisible fence ends closer than it does.
If you broke it off really low, you might have less blossoms next year too.
