Is this "Amethyst Temple" or something else?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

This was sold to me as "Amethyst Temple" 3 years ago, but I have had other people call it other names. It is approx. 4 and a half feet tall and has 10-12 buds per stalk. It is in bloom now and smells heavenly!!
My question is, if it's not "Amethyst Temple".....then what is your guess to what it could be?

My opinion is: Amethyst Temple is probably the most commonly sold strain of purple trumpet lilies. As such it is most likely Amethyst Temple. Bulbs from a strain can vary in color because in reality they are a group of similar colored lilies. I purchased a bag of 3 ATs and they were all different, in particular with respect to the depth of color. What are some of the names being tossed around? The Lily Garden has a purple strain called Summer Palace that tends to run on the darker end, but I believe they are exclusive to the Lily Garden.

One lady told me it was "Pink Perfection" but I didn't think so.

Pink Perfection is another strain that can vary in color. Use the Lily Register to look up the "official" descriptions. Use the search function otherwise the site is difficult to navigate. Here is the link. This is a very useful site.

Oh, the search function is located in The Lily Register folder. You don't have to register or login....
