Go to any office supply company (Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, etc.) and purchase coin envelopes. They're perfect for collecting seed and not very expensive. Here's the one that Staples carries: http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StaplesProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10001&prodCatType=0&catalogId=10051&productId=18232&cmArea=SEARCH They also come in larger sizes. The only problem is that they come in a box of 500. Maybe you could share with friends?
Where to buy seed envelopes?
Sometimes you can find them in discount stores. I think last time I was in Wal Mart I also saw them.
I use little money envelopes from the local post oiffice, they are brown paper ones and have a seal........ Wonderful for seeds and not very expensive either.
and if you like paper bag, you can also print your own.

I have just printed the large package at 150%. I will buy a pretty gift wrap and cut them from that thereby saving on color ink.
I just found a very bright geometric paper and cut and put together 12 in only a few minutes. I use the stapler to secure the folded sizes. I will either tape, paste, or put white labels on the front to identify the seeds. It is very fast and satisfying.
