CLOSED: Could this be a katydid?

Hanover Twp., PA(Zone 6a)

I thought this was a oblong-winged Katydid but from the side I'm not sure. Any thoughts?

It looks very close to this one, which is the same genus as the Oblong-winged Katydid, which is Ambylocorypha: http://bugguide.net/node/view/124950/bgimage

Unfortunately, this image is not identified as far as the species.

I bought the new book THE SONGS OF INSECTS and the pictures are great and there is a CD with the insects songs. This looks much like the Scudderia pistillata, Broad-winged Bush Katydid. What do you think?

Is that an image from the book? If so, I agree it looks very like your first picture,

No it isn't from the book. It is just a different view of the same bug.

In that case I have not been able to find an image that matches your Katydid,
Sorry,

Thanks for your help but I finally found it. Amblycorypha longinicta, the common virtuoso katydid. (I think).
