We recently found an eight legged insect inside our house that wandered in and we captured it. It has two large antennae that look like hairy legs (and are larger than its other legs). It is about an inch and a half long, and it is a tan or light brown color, and its abdomen is dark brown or black with visible ridges. We live in the desert and we believe we identified it, after much search, as a sun spider, but we aren't certain.
