CLOSED: another assasin bug? tis the season ?

just getting ready to submit this, when I saw the thread from PA with an assasin bug. Maybe mine is not fully grown.

that looks a lot like some bugs i've seen...if i remember correctly i think they killed or were killing a bug on a day lily so i thought to myself "good bug"

some smaller ones with more pronounced red reminded of some different figures i've seen with african art...they were really interesting to watch

This is a "teenage" wheel bug - an assassin bug that is not yet fully grown. They can give a nasty bite, but will only do so if you try to handle it. Good photo!
