Finally some warm sun! This is Trogon
July 12
more, please. :)
That's all for today folks!
Beautiful, just beautiful. :) Thanks for posting!
I LOVE your martagons and think now I have to find pink taurade. Lily Nook possibly? Must confess to a real weakness for downfacing recurved types, including Eurydice who's well represented in my garden. I'm so glad, Mainiac, that you're a little later with your blooms, so that we can see them again!
Wickerparker, hold onto your wallet. Martagons go for $25 and up!
I know I know. I've already picked out a couple in the $25-35 range for the fall, and I know it's foolhardy when Mrs. R.O. Backhouse can be had for a lot less and is already as lovely as anything I've ever seen. But I think I've got a fatal attraction to martagons. I'm sure I'll winnow the list down as I come to my senses, but for now it's very nice to dream....
Another one. Then I must get to work after playing yesterday. Marie and I spent the day with a friend in Bloomington and visited a lady who has I think 400,000 day lilies. It is a business for her and she was in the process of getting ready for open house when the Day Lily convention is on in 2 weeks. So gracious of her to allow us to tour her fields.
Mainiac, I am sure you know who I mean.
China Express

Just beautiful you guys!! :) Keep the pictures coming!
Maxine, did you take any pictures at the daylily farm?? :) hmmmmmm? :)
All very pretty; I haven't had any new ones bloom in a couple of days except a white one with no tag.
Yeah, Arlene, when I was out looking last night, I was in a lily lull too... I'm living vicariously through Mainiac's and Maxine's pictures. :)
