Honeylocust under stress.

Denver, CO(Zone 6a)

I have a Sunburst Honeylocust and something is causing it to yellow from the top down. We have had drought conditions two years ago so could this be drought injury? Or is it from too much water? I have no idea and was hoping someone could help me id what's happening to this tree.

LOL yeah you're right but it WAS yellow in the spring then turned a nice green , which it is supposed to do, not the other way around. But I didn't think about it having new growth being yellow! It hasn't grown much in the last few years because of the drought but I think you're right and I just panicked. Thanks!
