Lilium Oriental 'After Eight'

Help!

These pretties have bloomed before I could transplant them. Should I now wait, or will transplanting during blooming hurt them?

Looks like you are already here! Welcome! Dig a hole and put the entire rootball, bulbs, and soil in the hole and they should not even know they were moved. After they finish their growth cycle you could separate them and space them a bit more, but even that isn't necessary if you like the spacing the way they are. Be sure to mulch the soil so the moisture levels and temps don't change so drastically and they should be very happy.

Great, and thanks for the reply LLilyfan.

Curious about the difference between daylily and lily.

Just know that I like these very much, and they smell wonderful.
