The ones that the rabbits didn't get 2007

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Here are most of the lilies in our garden that have bloomed so far this year that where not chomped on by the rabbits. They got a good many early on, but many more to bloom if I can keep them at bay. Patti

That looks like a pretty nice display, even if it wasn't what it was supposed to be. :)

I too, have several I didn't get to see this year.

How do you get to load up some many pics in one shot. I like that idea, but not sure how to do it. Thanks.

I use a free google program called Picasa http://picasa.google.com/ It is a quick down load and they have a collage feature. I use it for all my photo's files. Patti

Wow, great lilies! I'm happy for you that Bugs Bunny didn't get them all!!!

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

You have some gorgeous lilies there. If you ever want to thin out your bed or share your bounty, we'll all be happy to oblige. :)

Thanks all.

Icosden, the rabbits have kept them too thinned so far. But that is a battle I hope to win someday.

loll... At least the little thieves are cute.

Another batch in bloom now. I went away for 2 weeks, so I missed some completely. Is that like a tree falling in the woods when you are not there? I will plan my visit with my mom later next year, so I will see the ones I missed this year, unless the rabbits get them. Patti

Looks like you got past those bunnies with a whole bunch of blooms! Good for you!

Patti,

do you happen to know the name of the 2nd lily in the 2nd row? I have a NOID that looks real similar and know that it is a named cultivar, just don't remember what it is!

Lilyfan, that lily looks like Menton A.

I think it is 'Desert Song' from one of 4paws coops of calla, glads and lilies from Blooming Bulb. 5 for 4.75. I would love for her to do another one this winter as she ran great coops. The one I had was not spotted like yours as I recall. I will have to recheck the photographs of it, I remember it being a very mellow mellon pure color. Patti

Its not Menton, but color is the same as Menton. Menton doesn't have spots.

In that picture (2nd picture 2nd row) I think I see spots in the center so that was why I was curious. If you check the photo and it does have spots and you have a name I would sure like to know so I can check it out further. Thanks Patti

Maxine, I'm pretty sure it is an older cultivar, but I'm having trouble finding anything.

BB ~ I think yours looks like Desert Song, and Sue, I don't know about yours but it sure is cute.

My Desert Song looks like this.

I have Desert Song and I even took a comparison picture. I really like this lily and I won't quit until I have the name. They do not even look remotely similar, I took the picture for the color comparison. If I ever do find out I will be sure to share the name with everyone.

I don't think so, mine is pollenless.

Look like 2 different animals to me...
