I have three bradford pears in a row - two look great and one is sad! it is loosing its leaves - seems like from the tip down. any suggestions?
Bradford Pear dying - Why
Nothing new there. Bradford Pears are notorious for their short lifespan - if they don't die like yours has, they soon fall to pieces (literally). Typical lifespan about 10-15 years at best.
I'd get rid of them, and replace with something more durable.

I just lost half of one of ours in the storm that came thru last night. You can def see that it's starting to rot all the way thru even though the leaves are beautiful and it's still a very full tree, but the whole thing is going to have to come down.
dear flowerjen,
You may want to consider having the stump ground after you get it down. It may help keep it from suckering. What do you think, Resin?
Yes, agree.

thanks
