Can we be sustainable and polite?

I've been following a couple threads in this forum quite closely and over the last couple of days both have become less than friendly. Could we please play nicely together? I am willing to take a little "greener than thou," and put up with erratic grammar for the sake of a pleasant exchange of ideas and useful information. I realize that DG is growing quickly and we are acquiring new people with fresh outlooks everyday, but let's not let that chase away some of us who have been around for awhile.
