I've been so enjoying looking at everyone's lilies. I have only a few varieties as my garden's small and I'm trying to keep the color palette relatively simple, so I've been living vicariously here. Since I haven't seen it come up yet in any of these daily threads, thought I'd post Summit. This was taken about a week ago when they just started opening for me. It's a tall, graceful lily, with a cool greenish tinged yellow bloom. It's a late bloomer for an asiatic.

Very nice! :) What does your color palette consist of?

Chicago, IL(Zone 5b)

plums and purples, raspberry, chartreuse, that kind of thing, mostly. And lots of foliage plants. Most of it's quite shady and all of it is visible through a huge window in our family room, so it's like an extension of our house. I wish I had more room to branch out, color-wise... Honestly, I've been drooling over these pictures... Someday, maybe.

Oh well, you have a lot of different lilies to choose from in your color palette. :) Work into it slowly, sneak a new one in here and there.. Then, branch out a bit and put a surprise around the corner! :) Please post more pictures of your lilies! :)

The back fence line. Behind this fence is the largest field of nasty weeds your eyes have ever seen.

I dunno Mags, those nasty weeds might be rivaled by my neighbor.

Ticker, why would I do something as odd as that?? ;)

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

It's old pature land that no one does ANYTHING with, and I mean nothing. You name the invasive weed, it's there.

Nice to see where all those pretty faces reside.
