Its Way Up There

Let us know if you hear any "Fee-fi-fo-fum" remarks booming from up there

It's amazing how tall they can grow in one season. Moonflower is a relative of MG... I planted a Moonflower at the side of my 2 story Victorian house several years ago. It latched onto a cable going up the side of the house and grew up to the roof and about 8 feet out the cable from the top of the house--all in just one summer. I'd say the vine had to be over 30 feet long by the time the frost killed it.
whats Frost?
hmmm...that stuff that reduces the citrus crop from time to time....
Phee Phii Phow Phicks, what do you mean, what is frost. Florida is the only state left where smudgepots are legal, isn't that right? lol
Nicest shot of that specie this season. Keep the pix coming. Phrank
I know they still have smudgepots in the vineyards in Medford Oregon (my mom and dad live there). I haven't actually happened to be there when they were in use. The city of Medford had an art competition where old smudge pots were artistically painted and placed around town. I'll have to ask my mom if they still use them, but I'm sure they do because they are out in the field and ready for use.
