Chirita and some prop/shelf pics
What is Chiltern, if I may ask? I searched it and came up with nothing. (Pardon my being dumb...)
It is a seed site but i can't find many of these............my list of seeds has already changed (LOL)
I can always count on jannich and Rain to try growing anything (LOL)
Let me see if i can find the chiltern place........almost looks like a regular seed company..........I am going to try some of the jungle seed placesl, too...

Gail, I don't know anything about ordering from that site you found. They do have some neat stuff, though.
Have you joined the Gessie Society yet? I'm just wondering if they have some, most, all, of the ones you're looking for.
On Chilterns I found one Sinningia Sellovii Catalog no. 1177T but they are sold out of the True Wild Species of Siningia..........
i don't know why i feel this way, Rain...........but i just have a hunch about this site....sometime when you are bored, first go to the gesneriad pages............then go to the seed pages and look at the pics............they are to simply die for..........even the seed to the Sinningia Sylvatica that Snowrose posted is there.............awesome plants...........I keep working on a seed list............then i go back and change it again...........since I am going to give you ladies who love to grow from seed a lot of it.............ya'll help me with the order............it is quite a delightful site.........although the pictures of the gesneriads don't exactly match the seed list..........still there are at least 8 absolute winners that we all have seen at one time or another when someone posted.............I gather they would be very expensive to order the plants even if we could find them...........
******************probably it would be wiser to to join the gesneriad society first......but it would be a while before we could actually get seeds from them....and i think they are rather limited compared to this Braziilian site.
Gail, and others... you might like this site as well. I have not ordered from them, but I did some research and they seem quite reputable. Smaller selection, but some nice choices just the same. I was gonna order the Sinn.Leucotricha from them, had I not found it on eBay.

Karen
Loved reading about this site Rose. My paternal grandmother lived in Fort Bragg, CA until she passed on and I have visited there many times, it a beautiful place!! Wish I had been into plants back then so I could have visited this nursery!!!!

Karen, thanks for this site............will study...............
I am going to join the Gesneriad Society........but evidently you can't do it on line????
It says to print out the application and mail in..........think it is easier to do it through Rob's Violet Barn.........easier to do it on line with him......
I joined online. I don't recall it being too difficult, but can't remember for sure.
I guess those plants that y'all say prefer Cold AND Snow I would not be able to grow ... unless someone comes up with a Freezer with a bright light inside that won't melt the ice.
would welcome any help, Rain....
