Thank you...
Susan
This is July Bingo....yayyyyyyy
I posted the pictures of some things in my surprise box that I received from Gail for my bingo win last month on the wrong thread, duh! It was a great surprise box and now I need to make the time to go pick out the things with my gift certificate!
Just trying to entice some more players even though I think jannichs roller skating lady bug planters are all the incentive anyone needs!! LOL
I have my card in for this month and am looking forward to the game beginning on Tuesday!!!
~Brenda
Hey,
I don't 'see' Janet - who's going to entertain us?
I love those skating ladybug planters, have almost bought them a couple of times! They are so neat! I might just have to order them ... a set for me and a set for one of my sisters who loves stuff like that too!
Brenda: What thread did you post your photo on? Would love to see your new babies!
OKay Susan you can play since it is your birthday. I don't want to be the one to make someone cry.
Happy belated birthday. Just like me to be behind.
Very nice Brenda! I have a container just like that ..... somewhere! Must find it and plant something in it! I am new to Episcia's, have a couple I got in trades .... Love that one and you say it blooms yellow?!! Oh, I can't wait to see a pic of that! I bet it's so pretty!
..... going googling!
edited to say: Isn't this the July Bingo Thread?? Is there another one that I missed or forgot about?? Gotta go look for that too!

hee hee ... I found it! I missed your pic of those Beautiful and Yes Huge, leaves! What's the name of the yellow blooming AV? I be it's a beauty too. I got one from Bluebird Greenhouse awhile back called Alamo Goldrush and I don't know why I thought I was buying one with yellow flowers, but the flowers are not yellow ... maybe I forgot and bought it because of the variegation on the leaves! Here's the link to the photo on the avsa website:

My plant is very small and I can just see the beginnings of the leaf variegation on the edge of some leaves! Hope it grows up to look like this one!
Oh those pots are so cute... I have never seen anything like them before... So that is second place huh??? Well that leaves me out for I am more then likely in last place like most of the times...LOLOLOL
Hugs,
Susan
Lin it was a thread that was started asking if we had anyone to host a July Bingo....After threegardners offered to host she then started this new thread...
The semi mini yellow violet is one that Gail picked up at that wonderful nursery she's been talking about. It has "new variety" written on it and then Gold Star...so not one you can be googling yet evidently :)))
I'll be sure and get pictures when it blooms again. There are several buds on it now.

I can't wait to see those blooms Brenda! Yellow! Wow, I bet that is gonna be one beautiful AV! Miss Gail grows em' well, doesn't she? Oh, I am so envious of her having that nursery near her. But, if there were something like that near me I would probably go broke fast! LOL.
Happy Birthday, Susan!!
Is everybody ready???? Dabbers set and eagerly awaiting the new Calls thread????? I will be starting a new thread when I make the first call.....keep yer eyes open!!!!!
Oh Yeah!! We are READY!! : ))
Wait, wait, wait...
Okay, NOW I'm ready. lol : D
Well...this is cool...just got word from an anonymous donor...we have a 4th prize!!!! An AVSA membership!!!!!!
I am getting the biggest kick out of reading July Bingo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You all need to let Susan play................she is the nice lady who sent starfly two avs........wasn't that nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw Gold Star somewhere the other day..........I don't know for a fact but I think it was in the new AVSA magazine........and i think Hortense Pittman is the hybridizer.........should have gotten her other new one at that nursery!!!!!!!!!
I love that Alamo Gold Rush.......Lin........with that foliage who cares if she blooms!!!!!!!
You all have fun!!!!!!!!!!
Have to get up at the crack of dawn and drive 31/2 hours to Houston, see the doctor, and turn around and come home...........can't leave my babies...........also, I do believe the guardian angel named jannich has something waiting for me.......
edited to say: I am not the anonymous donor of the AVSA magazine, but it is a treasure.......bet it was Ki, begoniacrazii, .................inquiring minds want to know............it is a fabulous gift...

Ooooh .... what a fabulous prize! I would love to win that one as I still haven't joined the AVSA yet! I figured it would be a good Christmas Present from hubby! LOL. hmmmm .... If I were to win 4th place in Bingo he would have to buy me something else .... maybe more Plants! I can see him rolling his eyes at that!
I wonder if the 4th Bingo winner of the AVSA would be able to get the free Buckeye leaves from Pat. She gives them out to new subscribers. This would be a double treat.
Linda

Eunice
