Found these guys partying in one of my daylilies this afternoon. They were still there when I came in at 7PM. Are they friend or foe?

Katydid nymphs.

I never think of katydids as doing much damage. I would just let them be....

Oh, I'm excited. I've only seen a katydid in my garden once in my life. It was an adult. When I saw these a little ghost of a memory whispered katydid but I knew the one I had seen was much larger and all green. I never thought of a nymph.
So, party on kids.
