Two new homemade plant stands..Organization????

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

bmedel............I saw Swizzle Stick on ebay..........it sold for only 9.95.........someone got a good deal...........

Wow, that was a good deal! It is a chimera and reminds me a lot of my Victorian Ribbons standard chimera which is probably why it clicked with me. I do love that plant, the variegation is just on the outside edges of the leaves which is probably why you love the others best, such pretty light colored variegated leaves.

Speaking of my Victorian Ribbons, I re potted it this past weekend and took a sucker off of it!! I've got the sucker in some vermeculite and I will be so tickled if it grows so I can see if it blooms true! Here's a picture of it before it's re-potting...

that is one fine plant, bmedel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe I must be the only one around who doesn't know what to do with suckers..........just tried to divide the babies on my first leaves and didn't even know what i was doing................as the ad from Nike says, "just do it"...........and that is what I did with a sharp razor blade..........got tired of my sucker plucker not making any headway separating them..........

*********good luck with your sucker!!!!!!!!!!

I used a xacto (sp?) knife and some force so I'm pretty iffy about the results of my surgery actually growing but so far both mother and sucker are still alive! :)) I'll let you know how it goes...
