Thanks for noticing I was gone. I've been among the missing for most of 2 months or longer. My server doesn't serve - a good deal of the time.

It's nice to come back and browse thru the threads. I've missed you all so much. Other than the common orange ditch lily this tall orange one is a delight in my garden, and the only lily I have.

Lilies look like they are doing great for you Moby! After todays photo, i am going to have to find room for Dutch Red. Love it! Here is Golden Stardust. It is the largest blooming one I have.

Silk Road is really tall this year.

Of course my garden looks great ~ I had great gardeners working on it. :)

African Queen- has a 6"+ trumpet on a less than 18" stem. Last year it was in a pot.

That 'Coral Queen' is gorgeous! And , you're making me look forward to 'Garden Wheel' even more! It's as lovely as it was pictured, at your house.

This is Red Hot an orienpet... Can you tell the difference?

After looking at my pictures again, this is not Red Hot, it's one that Mainiac sent me... Red Hot looks exactly like Touching... I will go out tomorrow and check again...

This is 'Purple King' I bought from Maniac last fall. It is exquisite.

You are right, Ticker, those two lilies looking shockingly similar in those pictures. Funny thing, when DD saw what was labeled 'Zagora', she says, "ah, mom, you already have that one somewhere around here, I just know it."

This is Buggy's 'Luxurious'. It is very, very double here. I was reading that it can be more double in cooler climates. Wow! It must be coooooooooold here ;) Love it!

I like that Luxurious, what a beauty! Purple King can come set up his court here anytime! :)

There is no difference between Red Hot and Touching. (Especially noticeable when you're looking at the right pictures, duh) So, is one a rip off of the other? Which one?

And this is one that Mainiac sent me last year as a bonus. Mainiac, do you recoginize it? This was one of the ones we weren't sure who it was...

This is Red Hot.... duh... And the other one is Red Hot, not Touching. They came mismarked. I just looked at where I got them and you can throw eggs if you like, cause it was Dutch Gardens. What's that mantra?? Oh yeah, "Only buy lilies from people that live and breath lilies." *sigh* oh well, they are nice anyway.

I ordered them, too, and I'm now very curious to see what the result will be.

Jungs has mixed up a few lilies for me, but they sure did send me some nice American Series ones. Here is American West in the sun.

This came from Wayside Gardens as "Nettie's Pride." It looks like what Wayside sold me, but if it's really Nettie's Pride, I don't know. It doesn't look like Beaker's Nettie, and I like Beaker's better...
