How to get rid of a pesty Chicken

This may sound strange ... but a chicken came into our yard a couple of months ago and has destroyed one of my beautiful gardens. We've tried catching her. We've tried baiting her. We've tried shooting her with a BB gun. Yes she's still here. Has anybody else ever experiences this? How can I eliminate this pesty chicken? She's too fast to catch. Is there a poison (like rat poison) or something like that, that I could put out. ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME PLEASE !!!!

Is she staying there at night? If so catch her in the dark, or leave a shed door open with some food in there this might help.
