I can't tell if this is 'Eros' or 'Karen North'. Would you give me your best guess please?
Help with a Lily Garden "Who Am I?"
The color looks more like "Eros" to me. Hey, did your variegated lily bloom?
I had the catalog outside with me today and either I am REALLY bad at this or I have no idea what I am doing.
The variegated lily has not bloomed. It still looks horrible, absolutely no change. I almost took a picture of it, but then I thought my camera might break it looks so freaky ;)
Andrew, thanks for your vote.
Wow Mags! That is pretty!
I think the picture of Karen North in the Lily Garden catalog should be a bit more orangeish. I have seen KN in bloom at the Lily Garden but not Eros. Your lily sure looks a lot like my North seedling, doesn't it? I have a kazillion KN scale bulblets growing on, I just need more garden space now!
Could it be ‘Eurydice’ instead? Sometimes the pictures all look so similiar to me, and I do love them all, believe me. I just want it to have a name. Honestly, I thought I had purchased all of those the last couple years.
Pard, it sure does look like your North Seedling. You're right. Sure do love those North Crosses and Hybrids. As I have said a time or two before, I never thought I'd love a lily without a scent until I met the Lily Garden and those North Hybrids. The form is just spectacular, very species like, strong, but delicate. Simply beautiful.
Freaky? I love Freaky (usually) !
‘Eurydice’ is more violet colored.
Here is Eruydice....
Edited to say....I really DON'T think you have Eros - too pink. How about Helen?

I got it from the Lily Garden. Could it be something other than what is in the catalog? It does look more like 'Helen'. Or perhaps it is one of the crosses they have done? It's very pretty. It's definitely pinky and not orangey. (isn't that North website awesome??)
