Has anyone had success in starting alstromeria from seed and how did you go about it?

Tamma,
It reseeds very freely here in my yard.. I am also in zone 8..I have never tried to start it in pots, but it should be easy..It spreads like weed seed here.

file the seed on one side to remove the seeds coat then soak over night in water. plant about an inch under.
