About Trading

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Does much trading go on here? It doesn't seem very many people do any trading. I am new here and I guess I am use to more trading going on.

You're in the wrong forum. Try the Plant Trading, Seed Trading, and International Trading forums.

Go to the homepage, or click "Forums" in the menu, to find the trading boards.

It's true that DG is not built around trading. Additionally, the trading season hasn't begun in full force, yet. Hang around, increase your tradelist size, and watch the trades flow in come September!

Honibee, sometimes the threads "sink" to the bottom of the forum and disappear out of sight before you attract the attention of a trader who has what you're looking for (or vice-versa).

It looks like you've posted some "wants" on the trade forums, but I didn't see them in your tradelist, which can help you as much or more than posting directly on the trading forum.

Here's a thread I posted yesterday that may help you locate others who have what you want/are looking for what you have:

(P.S., best of luck in your search for cream-colored marigolds; I purchased white "African Marigold" seeds this year, and direct-seeded them in the same bed as traditional yellow marigolds; none of white have bloomed :( Any tips you could share would be appreciated, as I apparently am only good at growing the yellow varieties, LOL!)

Who wants cream colored marigolds? I to am new and just learning this site, but what I see I love! I have cream colored Marigolds. Check my listings. Also how do i add what I am wanting? Thank you!

Hi, Midwestsnowbird! I think Honibee was wanting some, if I am recalling a post she made.

To add your "wants" to your tradelist, scroll down to the categories - first is plants, then seeds. You can click on any subcategory (annuals, perennials, etc.) and add items. As you add them, you can classify them as "have" "will have" or "wanted"
