Can I grow a moonflower in a container (with trellis)?

Is it possible to grow a moonflower in a container (with a trellis of course, since it is a vine)? I am renting my house so am a bit limited to container gardening! Am brand new to Dave's and indeed to California (love it!) so any help would be greatly appreciated!
