Bug ID needed. Friend or foe? I often see these on my roses.

I think they are either Magined or Pennsylvania leatherwings - it's hard for me to tell without seeing the back of the head/neck

I've got a bunch of Margined leatherwings in my flower gardens and they don't do any damage - I think they are "good guys"
