I have a beautiful purple phlox on one side of my garde and golden splendor lily on the other. Now may be all of my taste is in my mouth , but I have thought why not take a 4 foot square in one of my beds and plant purple phlox underneath golden splendors . Will the lilies be able to compete with the Phlox?
