I am new to this site and I am having a problem with my blue spirea. I planted them in spring of '06. I live in albuquerque, nm. They grow everywhere down here. The problem I am having is that it is turning yellow at the base of the plant and is working its way up the bush. Help I don't want to lose my bushes.

Need help with blue spirea
How much are you watering? Yellowing lower leaves is often a sign of overwatering. You live in a hot dry climate so that wouldn't normally be my first suspect but without a picture that's the only thing I can think of.
