CLOSED: is this a Lady Bug??

it was huge about 4 x's normal lady bug size. was crawling all over my milkweed

That is a milkweed beetle and is responsible for the holes in the leaves. You might start giving them the dump into the bucket of soapy water treatment. Don't spray your milkweed plant. That is the larval food for the Monarch butterfly.

I have a certified wildlife habitat. I don't use any poisons. First time I have ever seen one of those but I am having a lot of first living here in the country now lol
