Noid hoya

Carnegie, PA

Hello all :) I'm new here and I love it so far! I usually lurk and occasionally post over at the GW forum. I just bought a noid hoya over the weekend at Meijers. It looks to me like a regular carnosa, but I can't be sure. There are barely any flecks on the leaves. I know it's extremely difficult to ID hoyas without flowers, especially when the foliage isn't that spectacular. But, just for the heck of it, I thought I would post and see if anyone had any ideas. Thanks so much!

Here is a closer image of the leaves.

My guess would be Carnosa. Someone with more knowledge will be along shortly. I bet they will say that a picture of the flower would help.

Carnosa....of course a flower would make it a sure thing, but it is pretty easy to recognise this one. It is a very healthy, beautiful plant.

Thank you both. It was the only one there that wasn't half dead. I grabbed it as soon as I saw it. I was hoping I would be able to run across this one sooner or later.

Where did you it, at a garden center? Is there a sticker or tag with the growers name on it?

I got it at a Meijer's store in Columbus, Ohio. It's like a Wal-Mart. The tag says DellaTerra and the website is www.dellaterrafarms.com. I went there though and there isn't much to it.

Hmmm, actually, just clicked on my link and it doesn't take me to the website at all anymore lol. Says Under construction....weird, I was just there yesterday and it worked fine.

Actually looks like an all green carnosa and I've been looking for one of those. They used to be really common but disappeared. Nice find.

Susan, if you would like, I could send ya a cutting :) Unless of course, you would rather have a whole plant.

Jen

Thanks for the offer, Jen. I'm sure I'll find one down here.
