CLOSED: Crescent Marked Lily Aphid?

Greensboro, NC(Zone 7b)

I found these guys lined up on my lily, destroying the bloom. After searching, I think it might a Crescent Marked Lily Aphid, but couldn't find many references to verify.

I did find this PDF link with a similar photo: http://www.agnr.umd.edu/MCE/Publications/PDFs/FS687.pdf

This article refers to them as Neomyzus circumflexus, although I read elsewere the new name is Aulacorthum circumflexum.

Would you all agree lily aphids or are they some other type?
Thanks

Here's another shot of the aphid army in different light. These dark markings are flat in the middle where I would assume the crescent/horseshoe would have a bit of a curve, but they look identicle to the photo in the link above.

Is there enough similarity to classify them and add to the bug files or should I just forget about adding them?

Linda, I agree that your Aphids are the Crescent-marked Lily Aphid (Aulacorthum circumflexum).
I have made a page for them in BugFiles here: http://davesgarden.com/bf/go/4712/

Please add your images,

Kennedy
