June 17 Blooms

Wow, there were some beauties from JUne 16! Midnight is just starting. Not as dark as I'd like it to be.

Do you think this really is Midnight? That is what I bought it as.

Any ideas on this upright unknown? It is such a heavy bloomer each year. The edges of it are apricot which does not show real well in this photo.

LOve the Trefflers, jmorth. Not normally into streaked/multicolored Asiatics but your combintion is eyecatching and wonderful.

Such gorgeous lilies (and gardens!) My only contribution today is Ariadne, which came as a bonus bulb from the Lily Garden. Photo doesn't quite capture the color, which is very peachy, not as pink as I'd expected. Still, a very graceful presence in the border.

Ridiculous heat, Steve, though it's supposed to cool off at last on Tues. Never thought I'd envy a Texan his 78.

No kidding. It's been high 80's here and the last several days have been humid and stagnant. Yuk. At least today is a little more breezy.

I really like the double red that I get from 'Sphinx'. I don't have too many reds, as I have liked more of the pastel-ish palates.

Here, it got up into the 90's every day last week, except yesterday. Today - back up into the 90's.

Yeah, hot here in Niles, too. Everyone is walking around without shirts on .not. a pretty sight.

90's and humidity to match here in Wi.

This is blooming now in one of my flower beds. Very prolific bloomer and producing bulbs.
