Oh Moby, your Tramp is quite beautiful. :) And Mags, your Green Goddess, is wonderful. ;)

I've been out of action for the past week or so, and am just now getting back out to the gardens to just look around, and here is what I found. :)

Wow, great lilies all - great "Tramp" Moby!

Magnolia, yours is very unusual - is that also an Oriental?

Nice Asiatic collection you have, Ticker - I really like the "Hello Dolly"

I have OT Hybrid "Futura" blooming today...my only newly blooming variety LOL

Steve, 'Futura' is very nice. I don't think I have heard of that one.
'Green Goddess' is an asiatic lily that Buggy says is "a complex hybrid with L. lankongense and L. candidum in it's background". Very strong form, lightly scented too. I really like it.

Nice Futura, Steve!! Mags, Green Goddess has a scent? How nice. :)

Ok, supper and Eucher is over, now on with the lilies... :) This picture doesn't do it justice, it's really red.

Red Carpet, not nearly as red as First Class, tho...

And I think this is a Kiss Me Kate..

Ticker, beatiful blooms there. 'Kiss Me Kate' looks much better in your garden than any picture I have ever seen. Uh-oh....my list is growing again ;)

Greenwood, IN(Zone 5b)

I agree on the "Kiss Me Kate" - wonderful! I also like the 1st white "NOID"....normally not much into white flowers but I love the speckles in the center - makes the flower look interesting and beautiful.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I agree with that, Steve. But the Casablanca types have the fragrance going for them.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Thanks guys. I don't think that is Casablanca, Moby. That pure white one is Mont Blanc. :) What ever that is. A lot of my newly planted orientals from last fall are not up and looking around at all. My Woodriff's Memory is no where to be seen. I'm remaining calm and realize they might just all be having a pouting party, but, man, I was nice to them, really, I was... :) Of course, the deer did get one or so of the ones I planted June of 06, so, it might have scared the rest into staying put this year. Who knows.

Nah, I just meant that white is nice but not very exciting unless it has freckles. Or serious fragrance. :)

I honestly wonder if it was our hot and cold temps in April. That cold snap was days long. I had too much up at that point. 'Samur', I swear, just froze and didn't budge for weeks. Planted last fall from B & D, it's looking a bit stressed. 'Woodriff's Memory', although a wonderful bulb, does not look that great either, for me.
