I just opened this thread and read for the first time about your year long progress. What fun!! We have started a waterfall (sort of) When we built our house 4 years ago my son and I hand dug our waterfall that has a top pond of 8' x 8' x 3.5' deep, the run of the stream is about 50' long then spills in to a 25' x 20' by 5' deep bottom pond. I was so excited to start this water feature but it didn't take long to know that we needed help. The top pond is the only thing that is semi-done. We have huge bullfrogs, lillies and mosquito fish in it but that is as far as we have gotten. I learned that a local restaurant owner was developing a "spray-on" liner. I wanted to wait for his invention to be complete to finish my waterfall. Your thread has been an inspiration and I will start posting my pics and sharing my waterfall experience with others in hopes that it will help like yours has. Great job and thank you...
