Can most shrubs be propagated by layering (burying a portion of a bottom stem underground except for the tip) ? I have had great success with forsythias and several others - the biggest problem is to mark them so I remember to move them next year. What about Weigela, Mock Orange, and Viburnum?
Shrub propagation by layering?
I just googled around, all those can be layered. I try to propagate Azaleas by layering, it takes about a year. I usually forget to keep the underground part watered enough, though.
