CLOSED: mosquito repellet?

I was told recently that chrysanthemums repell mosquits. Is there any truth to this. I have also heard the same about Eucalyptus. I have one of these but have never noticed if there was any affect.

Certain Chrysanthemums have chemicals called pyrethrins that are used as insecticides. I don't know if ordinary mums have pyrethrins or not.

I used to use Dr. Bronner's eucalyptus soap...put it this way, it didn't attract mosquitos like the herbal shampoos seem to.
