.....prayer for Dawn/TX

Nevada, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you all for the lovely orchid and kind words of comfort and support.
Sylvia, thank you so much for posting.
Barb, I can't thank you enough, just for being there.

The sudden loss of my husband is still very hard to discuss, it was such a shock to us all. He was a young man, just 49. We had been married 23 years, he was my one true love. He had a great sense of humor, and a deep love for our children and me. He also loved his music. He played guitar, and had begun to write and record his own songs.
The children are doing well. We have moments when it is more difficult than others, but they are strong. My daughter will be 15 in two weeks, and my son is just 8. While I can never take the place of their father, we are doing the best we can, taking it one day at a time. We're blessed to have a great deal of support from his family, my family (my brother and husband were very close.) our neighbors, friends, the church, and the companies that we both worked for. I am back at work. Getting back into a routine and keeping busy helps with the loneliness and sense of loss.

Dawn, I am still praying for you ... it will get better, I promise you.
Love, Sylvia

God Bless you Dawn, I am paying for you and your children too.
I am also glad that you have your family and friends to give you moral support.

I am sure it must be so difficult for you and the kids. I could see the love in the actions between you and your daughter and I know you must have all had a great love as a family. When I think of you, I see your beautiful smile.
I hope you will try to make the Swap in October so we can give you more than a cyber hug! For now that will have to do. You are in my prayers.
