There were four of them on one of the brugs this morning. I have never seen one before.

Though, I've seen them before but didn't know they are Ladybug's babies!!!! Thanks a million.

Here are a few more species of lady beetle larvae. They tend to have the same shape - like a little alligator - but their coloration varies. Everybody should know what they look like - so they won't spray them. They are awesome predators on aphids, some on scale, mealybugs, and many other soft-bodied insects.

Many thanks, as you know 'tis the season for Jap. Beetles, before we go out there and spray them. I'm more concerned of the benificials beetles. I'll have to do more reading from the links provided.

Thank you for the identity! Now I know to leave them alone. The leaves did look like they had been chewed on but I figured I would wait until I found out. I'm glad that I did!
