My blackmore gold fish looks sick....

If you have areas that are deep enough, or actually "settled enough" the fish can survive in your water fall ponds. They will not be able to survive non-stop water fall thrashing, but if some of the water along the edges is a little calmer, or the water falls are really that turbulent, they certainly can live in there. Start with some of the small feeder fish goldfish before adding anything more expensive. They are only about 12cents each.

I will give the feeder goldfish a try.

Stupid question - is this a Pet Smart item or are they a bigger fishes bait?

Should I feed them or will they find enough to eat.

The ponds do have tranquil water except right at the fall - so it may work out.

Thank you all. If these are a go and I have questions I may start a new thread. Thank you so much.

The comet feeder fish ( for bigger fish ) are the ones I'm referring to. Even though it annoys the girl trying to catch them, I still pick out the pretty ones that have long tails or orange/white or black/orange combos. Expect some to die, it happens with these fish even under perfect water conditions. The ones that survive though, will last for a very long time. I have some that are now 6 inches, beautiful, and have survived 90-100 temps, as well as light freezes. If you have plant life in your pond, you really won't need to feed them much. If you have nothing, every now and then you can feed them lightly.
