I really like that "After Midnight"!!
Daily Musings _ page 14
Did you get it?
The color should be real similar to Fatal Attraction - I'll know later.
So what did you get Andy? Daylily? lol
Al, what do you do that you know EVERYTHING, and are able to commute so effortlessly between Chicago and New England?
???, Carrie
No Al, I didn't get it......yet. Been thinking on it. I lost 2 this winter , have replaced one with Bigsky Sundown so I could get After Midnight!
I do maintenance for lawns/trees and shrubs. That gets me by a lot of plant sellers and different landscapes. I don't know everything by a longshot, I have some experiences and opinions on plants thats all.
Pix - Let me know how you like Sundown( I have not been shy with my opinion on that one.LOL)
I lost track of this thread, somehow.
Al, I'm waiting for my native milkweed to flower ~ maybe next week. I hope to see some B'Flies on it. I never see caterpillars on it.
I yanked (I saw your remark about yank-ee / yanker on another thread, you devil you.) I yanked out half my Blackberries this Spring, now the Milkweed is out in the open in a bad location compared to 'in' the brambles. If I don't see any action there this season, it's getting yanked too. I need the garden space.
My more immediate problem is to figure out where to plant all the goodies I got at the Round-Up today.

Where was that billy?? Abandoned?
Laying on my sidewalk last week. I was coming back across the road from dumping weeds when I saw it. I think she had a baby clinging to her. I ran and got the camera and hollered at DH to come see.
This is what I saw first. I thought a huge chick just hatched out.
(A couple more pictures to follow this one.)
In 84 or 85, my daughter and her cousins ran in and said something was on the tree. I went out, and 3' up the walnut tree was a golden brown bat with a baby clinging to her, and a youngster next to her. I got my sun tea jar, took a stick and gently pushed her and the youngster into it. Then I showed her to everyone. DH took her out to the bridge and let her go when he got home from work.
Wow - thanks for posting that. So was that a baby?
That's the mama. The baby is underneath her :))
Nice.
It was interesting to say the least :)
To not be left out, I'm an Aries and a Rooster.

And bat saver! We'd never leave you out. Wish we saw you post more often!
Just when I get caught up, I get busy again. At least I'm accomplishing things outside. The garden is coming on and I am waiting for the rain to stop so I can wash my filthy windows. I did them this spring, but it didn't last.
Seandor, this is for you. We were climbing a ditch outside of town to take flood pictures and I found this in the grass. I carefully extracted it to get a better picture. It was windy so I had to hang on to it.
Billy, great series. They are really small when all rolled up. Is that mama & baby in the glove?
I love snakes. Bats too! I have a bat house but can't seem to get them to move in. Thinking of making it a bat brothel - maybe I'll have better luck.
I had a bat house for many years until it fell down. It was occupied for a few weeks one summer, that's all.
It's time to move it. They say if there are no bats by the third year, find a new location.
I even tried that bat spotlight thing that Chief O'Hara used to use. Didn't help.
cool Billy!
I was going to mention my bat cave.
Andy - your bat time share went bankrupt!
I GOT A MACRO LENS FOR MY FILM CAMERA! This was a while ago, actually, and I've taken 9 bazillion pictures so far, but we can't decide where to get them developed. The first roll, at a "24 hour" place, took a week. So here's a pretty picture instead. Tomtom took it; it's Alonsoa. I browsed and brpwsed and couldn't find the pic I wanted to show. :-(

carrie, how pretty! I love the bowl...anything terra cotta :0)
billy, the bat pics are just neat. the only bats I have seen up close are the ones that used to get into our church. my mom had to round them up and get them back outside LOL she was the only one that wasn't afraid of them.
That is so cool Billy - I love watching them feed at night. I think die, bugs, die!!!
Carrie - have fun with the new attachment!
I used to go fishing at night, as a kid. We would throw up pebbles as they flew by and watch the bats dive bomb trying to catch them. They figured it out after a few times, lol.
Gram (a girl) -
I'm having a blast! Only trouble is a reliable place to get the film developed... we left some at a 24 hour drugstore and it took two weeks. The drugstore down the street has too much red in their machine. Maybe it's only on their printer and wouldn't affect discs? Once they're developed with red streaks, they're ruined forever. Or is it just their printer? I don't know.
Andy, did I mention I also got a tripod for my b-day this spring? DH had to buy all this stuff for his XW, so he knows about them more than I do. At least where to buy them. Of course she kept everything.
Does anyone know about mail-away developing companies?
