Anybody around here raise Pygmy goats? we have 22 goats at this moment including 5 mini Nubian goats. We can make a few dollars selling them but we are so soft hearted we fall in love with them and end up keeping them, Inclosed are my "boys" born on Feb 27. A-Rod and Jeter ant their tiny mom, Fancy. I have lots of pics if anyone wants to see them.

I'd like to see the mini-nubians. I used to have the 200lb. nubians!
Baby goats are too cute !!! I am glad I don't have the room for goats because you start with 2 and before you know it you have a herd....lol.

What do I need to do to prep for them? I'm mostly worried about fencing....

we also have 3 nubian babies about 3 months old. Bambi, Flower and Thumper. Flower and Thumper are brother and sister. Thumper will be our sire to all of our nubians except Flower. We will be hiring him out as there are not many Male mini Nubians around here. and he is a BEAUTY. Ill send pics as soon as my wife gets them from her computer to mine.
My neighbors are always telling me to get goats to help with the "mowing" (I have about an acre that it unruly since it's rough pasture not lawn). I've been lukewarm about it until just now - those are totally adorable!. What do they eat besides grazing? Can you post more pics? I think I'm in love.
How cute!!!! How tall do they get and how much will they weigh when they are mature?
Yes, please post more pictures!

Love It!!!!! I too had over 70 milking goats years ago! mostly Nubian and Alpine! We found out that in our Area The Nubians would succumb to the Cold and humidity in the Winter ( yes down south we have humity in the Winter too!!!!) and the Alpines would just Swelter in the summer! WE were always medicating or doing Vet visits or worse! We had a beautiful Nubian Buck that weighed nearly 200 lbs ,that just would not stay where he was supposed to and we wound up with a whole herd of Nubian XAlpine crosses! Well, I guess Nature Really does know whats best! We never had health problems again! the Crosses did well in all climates, plus gave so much milk that we were able to help some local farmers with their new calves !
I no longer have Goats but do love them! My Grands know I do and that I collect goat figurines , so Now all my goats are made from ceramic!!!!
But .....Nubian Minis...............sounds very interesting!!!!!!!
