Buying A Horse - Thoughts For The Future

Silsbee, TX(Zone 9a)

No, no, no, I'm not buying a horse next week, don't worry! ROTFL I'm listening to everything y'all are saying. Really, I am. I try to be a good student (I like to get my little gold stars beside my name!)

I've been considering talking to Buzzy about someday buying a horse from him. He's *very* selective about who his horses go to, but luckily he and Jeanne seem to like me. teeheehee

I kinda fell in love w/ Lacy the other day when I met her. I don't know a lot about her and I'd have to find out all the info before I pursued anything. She just had a ton of personality and seemed like an "it" horse if you know what I mean. Buzzy didn't say exactly how old she is but he did call her a filly, so I'm guessing she's under 2 or 3 yrs old...is that right? If not Lacy I would be interested in another of his horses.

I know I've only seen a teensy, tiny bit of the horse world, but do any of you think it's realistic that I'm going to be able to find horses that are as well trained as Buzzy has these horses trained? Remember that all I'm looking for in a horse is one to ride at a walk. I have no interest in showing or jumping and hurting my back...although I think his horses could easily do those things.

Also, my plans for the future have been changing a bit. There's a LOT going on here right now, which I'm not going to bore all of you with. However, our recent plans would mean we'd be moving, most likely "out west," and I'm hoping to have four horses when we get there. Giddy Up!!

I also think it would be so very, very awesome to help in Lacy's training if things worked out that she would be my horse. Talk about taking lessons!

Sooooo, I'm just wondering what y'all think and what your opinions are...because it's a boring world without them. Teeheehee.
